A Really Cool Religious Website

I found this website and it is very cool! They take advantage of all the latest technologies in bringing the word to their community. OK, they are Lutheran, but why should they have all the fun!

New Design

I posted the new design at a development site. This is rough, but it will give you an idea of the direction I am thinking about going. Of course, all suggestions are welcome. I think we need some good spring pictures of the grounds to post as graphics, but I am open to other suggestions as well.

I also am still interested in holding a web design seminar for the committee. Let me know if there is any interest.

I started working on a new design. I haven't finalized anything yet, but by next week I will have a draft of the homepage for review. As always, comments will be welcomed.

I am still looking for a Free or relatively inexpensive html editor to evaluate for our use. If anyone has an idea of one let me know.

This should be so much easier

Hi, everyone. I am starting to lose track of all the emails back and forth on the redesign so I started this blog to keep everyone on the same page. This will be an easy way to keep a running log of the progression of the redesign. Feel free to post comments and check back frequently to keep up to date.

Right now nothing has been done. I am waiting for some pictures from Bill and Anita to get started with the homepage design. I will be creating a template that everyone can use to create and update their particular section. I will try keep it as simple as possible (no javascript or similar).

I also talked to Anita about doing a short seminar (or as long as necessary) to teach everyone who might want to learn html and also how to incorporate the template into their section.

I will post links on this blog as well as through E-mail on the progression of the site. I welcome your comments and trust me, I will not be insulted.
